1. What exactly are boo-boo blankies?
Boo-Boo Blankies are soft, fleece, keepsake baby blankets or security blankets with a pouch that contains a reusable hot/cold pack.
2. What are some of the uses for Boo-Boo Blankies?
There are several uses. Some of the most common are listed below:
Apply cold to scrapes, bump and bruises
Apply warm to soothe ear aches and muscle aches
Apply cold to soothe a feverish child or use them post-operatively
Hint 1: Some people heat the pouch to take on long car rides when it is cold outside. The warm snuggly blanket helps them relax or fall right to sleep.
Hint 2: I keep an extra paci in the pocket when my daughter does not need the hot/cold pack.
3. Do I have to make the $1.00 donation from my purchase?
Yes. The cost for each blanket is $39.99. Regardless of how it is done, I will donate $1.00 from each blanket sold to the Close To My Heart project.
4. How do I nominate a child for donations?
Send a detailed e-mail concerning the child, their family, their contact information and a photo if possible to boobooblankies@charter.net
You will receive a response to the e-mail address that you send from unless you specify otherwise in your e-mail.
5. How do I wash the blankets?
We recommend washing on the gentle or delicate cycle in cold water. Then you may tumble dry on low. No bleach! (Remember, these are handmade and should be washed with care.) Please make sure you remove the reusable hot/cold pack before washing! DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTNER OR DRYER SHEETS! This will cause the appliques to seperate from the blankie.
6. Are there any order in bulk discounts?
Yes! If you are ordering 10 or more Boo-Boo Blankies. Please e-mail for bulk ordering instructions and discounts. (There are larger discounts for orders of 25 and up)
7. Where can I find the information for Work From Home opportunities?

8. How big are the blankies?
The blankies are 18 x 24 which is slightly larger than an average security blanket and still smaller than a full size baby blanket. The perfect size for little ones to drag around without stepping on. Blankets can be ordered in any size, but prices vary.
9. How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Most orders are made and shipped out within 7-10 business days but it may be up to 2 weeks depending on the number of orders placed that week. On average, orders are recieved within 10 business days of the date the order was placed. Special orders may take longer as well as monogrammed blankies.
